Truthfully when I set out with cameras I never really know what I will end up with. Yes, one is going somewhere to see something, and possibly that something will be "the Thing" that features. But often not...

Yesterday we (the Barbados Photo Club) ventured to Harrismith. Before getting there I thought of weathered walls, ruins, coastline scenery, and yes, such images were recorded. Never did I think that PALMS would become the feature of this foto blog post.

So the Palms of Harrismith it is. Why? I really can't explain; I look through the viewfinder, move it over the scene and "BAM!", something connects and I start clicking.

Partial explanation: if you see nature spelling out your initial, take it as an omen and catch that image. I did.
